TownsCraft Beta Rules:

1. First and foremost, the server is in development. Progress and features may change or be removed without notice. Frequent reboots may occur and the server may become unavailable suddenly. By participating in this Beta you understand that your access may be removed at any time. You also understand that these rules and punishments may change at any time without notice. Any punishments associated with breaking rules during the Beta WILL carry over to the launch of the server, meaning if you are banned during the Beta, you will be unable to play during the launch of the server unless an unban is purchased or a ban appeal is accepted.

All bugs and exploits MUST be reported. Reporting such bugs and exploits will result in rewards being applied to your account, which WILL carry over to the launch.

The following rules have a tier and rule associated with them. Match the tier below the rules to see applicable punishments.

2. T4: Security Threats/Major Exploits. Any threat or exploit to circumvent server security protocols or exploits that affect server availability result in at a minimum of a permanent ban. This rule includes but is not limited to DDoS, lag machines, attempts to circumvent network proxies, attempts to circumvent server permissions or punishment systems, mass duping. The application and scope of this rule is at the discretion of TownsCraft Management and may include more than is listed here.

3. T3: Abuse of bugs, exploits, Minecraft bugs, or plugins to gain an unfair advantage or circumvent protections that are in place are not allowed.

4. T3: Modifications including but not limited to hacked clients, xrays, autoclickers, macros, and other modifications that give you an advantage over other players are not allowed.

5. T2: Player or staff impersonation is not permitted.

6. T2: Inappropriate content, builds, nicknames, usernames, or links is not permitted.

7. T2: Advertising other servers or discords is not permitted.

8. T2: Excessive server or towny griefing is not permitted.

9. T2: AFK, Alt, or other boosting for jobs, mcmmo, money, and other stats is not allowed. You may remain AFK at your base with an autogrinder, as long as you do not use autoclickers or other disallowed modifications.

10. T1: Excessive disrespect towards players or staff or excessive toxicity is not permitted.

11. T1: Spamming chat is not permitted.

Staff reserve the right to deviate up or down from these punishments, depending on the severity of the offense. Some staff may choose to give warnings first, while others may promote the offense as applicable below.

T4: Permanent ban, up to unappealable blacklist from discord, server, and web store

T3: 1st offense, 1 month ban. 2nd offense, 3 month ban. 3rd offense+, permanent ban.

T2: 1st offense, 1 day ban or 1 day mute for chat offense. 2nd offense, 7 day ban or 7 day mute for chat offense. 3rd offense+, 1 month ban. Extreme cases promoted to T3 offense.

T1: 1st offense, warning. 2nd offense, 1 hour mute. 3rd offense+, 1 day mute. Extreme cases promoted to T2 offense.
